Americana : Backroads America. My favorite way to travel! I love finding lost remnants of 19th and 20th Century American history. Roadside buildings and places are a great snapshot of life in the past decades. I often wonder what the old building or location that I am shooting would say if it could talk. What ghosts lurk from the past? What good or bad times happened there? One can argue that the modern buildings I shoot today will be looked on the same in 50 years by another photographer that has not even been born yet.
